A watermain break has caused a sinkhole on Midland Avenue in Scarborough early Monday morning.
Toronto Fire have been on the scene on Midland at Kingston Road since 4:20 a.m. but city crews have since taken over.
They are working to isolate the break and address localized flooding, but there are currently no planned water service shut-offs related to this incident.
Police say a sinkhole formed as a result of the flooding. The cause of the watermain break is still under investigaition.
The southbound curb lane on Midland Avenu between Park Street and Kingston Road is closed while crews assess the damage and complete repairs.
