Two male youths were rushed to a hospital Monday night after a stabbing in Brampton, and police are now searching for multiple suspects.
Emergency crews received the call around 10:45 p.m. at an apartment building in the area of Kennedy Road South and Glidden Road, near Steeles Avenue East.
When paramedics arrived, they found two males under the age of 18 suffering from stab wounds. Peel EMS initially said one male teen was transported to hospital with life‑threatening injuries, while the second boy was taken in with non‑life‑threatening injuries.
In a later update, police said the males are in stable, non-life-threatening condition in hospital.
Peel police tell CityNews that they’re searching for two male suspects. One suspect is described as Black with a muscular build and a black goatee-style beard. He was last seen wearing black khaki shorts, khaki-coloured shoes and a grey T-shirt with the word “Sleep” written in white lettering.
The second wanted male is described as Black with a slim build and medium-length black dreadlocks. He was wearing dark green pants, black shoes and a black hoodie with “1977” written across the chest.
The investigation remains ongoing.
