Toronto police say a male youth who was shot near a Tim Hortons in Scarborough late Thursday afternoon has died in hospital.
Officers were called to the Lawrence Avenue East and Bellamy Road North area for reports of a shooting at around 4:09 p.m. and found the victim in the area with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, but police later said he passed away.
His exact age has not been provided and so far there’s no suspect description.
