On the sidelines of the Berlin Process Summit, held on October 22 in Sveti Stefan, Montenegro, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
Kurti said on Facebook that he thanked Spajić for his hospitality and for chairing the Berlin Process this year.
He congratulated Montenegro on its progress toward joining the European Union and said Kosovo wants to learn from its experience in the process.
Kurti stressed that Kosovo is still waiting for candidate country status and the opening of EU accession negotiations.
According to Kurti, the meeting also addressed strengthening cooperation between Kosovo and Montenegro, particularly improving land transport links.
