Albania’s former ambassador to the US, Roland Bimo, has called on the diplomatic missions of EU countries and the US, in a social media post, to advise the Albanian government to listen to its citizens.
Referring to the youth protests in recent days, which have escalated across the country, Bimo said it was good that these missions were calling for people to reject violence.
But he said they should also offer advice to the Rama government, as citizens have been forcefully voicing their demands for months now.
