The result of the elections in Serbia prompted a reaction from Agron Shehaj, leader of the Mundësia Party, who described Aleksandër Vuçiç’s defeat as an extraordinary development and a clear signal to Edi Rama.

According to Shehaj, the Serbian opposition’s victory shows that power cannot be held indefinitely by an autocrat, especially when faced with protests and the resistance of young people.

“Extraordinary news from Serbia! The opposition won! Vuçiç, Edi Rama’s friend, lost the election. Now it is the turn of the Balkans’ last autocrat, Edi Rama,” Shehaj declared.

The leader of the Mundësia Party said that what has happened in Serbia should give courage to young Albanians, who have been protesting for months, calling for political change in the country.

“It is very good news for everyone because it shows that no autocrat can hold on to power forever. No autocrat can hold on to power despite protests by young people and students,” he said.

At the end of his reaction, Shehaj called on citizens not to stop protesting, declaring that Edi Rama, too, can be removed from power.

“The time has come for Edi Rama to go too, and we can remove him. We must continue protesting. We can defeat him and we will defeat him,” Shehaj concluded.
