While strong tensions continue in the capital on the third day of the unrest, clashes and numerous detentions have also been reported in the city of Korçë.
Following the incidents recorded during the local protest, police forces took 24 people to the police station.
Some of those detained are minors. It is reported that 14-year-old children, as well as young people aged 16 and 17, were taken to the police station. The oldest person among those taken in is 41.
The police intervention and detentions are linked to the clashes that occurred during the gathering, while further information on the developments is awaited.
